Our role
ESF Finance acts as a mortgage broker. Our role is to:
> Assist you to understand available credit options
> Help you apply for a loan with a lender
> Act as an intermediary between you and the lender
We do not provide legal or financial advice. Any information provided is general in nature and based on information you provide to us.
The lenders we work with
As a Credit Representative of Australian Finance Group Limited, ESF Finance has access to a panel of lenders made available through AFG.
Not all lenders on the panel may be suitable for your circumstances, and not all loan products are considered in every situation.
How we are paid
In most cases, ESF Finance is paid a commission by the lender if a loan we assist with settles.
This commission is generally made up of:
> An upfront commission paid shortly after settlement
> A trail commission paid periodically while the loan remains in place
The amount of commission can vary depending on the lender and the loan product.
Fees and charges
For most residential home loan services, there is no upfront fee payable by you to ESF Finance.
If a fee were to apply, this would be disclosed to you in writing before any service is provided.
You may still be required to pay fees charged by the lender or other third parties, such as application fees or valuation fees.
Referrers and other benefits.
We may refer you to other professionals such as accountants, conveyancers, or other service providers.
In some cases, we may receive a referral fee or other benefit. If this occurs, it will be disclosed to you.
